Chapter 18: The FAME Club

As Christmas approached, Albus read the Book of Alles more and more because of the sudden change in the Hogwarts' teacher behavior. Now the teachers were handing out two times the homework, and Albus just needed the book to get by. The only teacher that remained giving out only a bit more homework than before was Professor Popplewell, who seemed to never at all give out homework unless the class showed extreme lack of knowledge on a subject.
By the end of each day, Albus, Naomi, and Andrew would have to admit they wished for a nice break from the school days. Albus longed for the weekends as soon as Monday arrived.
So the Book of Alles was really the only escape from it. Naomi and Andrew would use it as well, just to get answers.
Of course, the Jokers even needed a rest, even if a nice laugh was what Albus, Naomi, and Andrew longed. James seemed tired these days as he strolled down the halls with pages and pages of homework helplessly stuck in his textbooks and homework papers he'd gotten D's on.
But finally, something exciting was going to happen, Albus, Andrew, and Naomi realized at lunch one day when the school seemed to be chattering with excitement. It seemed almost obvious something new was on the way.
"What's new?" Andrew asked, eating his sausages. Albus shrugged at the question.
"Wait what is that?" Andrew said suddenly, pointing to a poster on the walls of the Great Hall. Andrew and Albus got up to get a look. A crowd of people surrounded the poster, pointing and awing. Albus and Andrew peered over the heads and saw a poster:

Albus and Andrew only paid attention to the 'all classes during the time are dismissed' part before grabbing their quills and signing in the crowded lines provided to sign their names.
"This is wicked!" Andrew commented. "A full hour, no school! What genius must have thought of this?"
"It is good, really," Albus said, "4:00 is potions... so that means we'll get a break from practicing those forgetfulness potions, finally!" Albus smiled. Andrew tilted his head and saw Naomi signing her name on another one of the posters, Albus sharing the sight. Naomi hurried to join Albus and Andrew. "I suppose a few hours off of potions is my specialty," Naomi smiled.
"So, Potter, joined the club, have you?" The sneering face of Malfoy, Crabbe, and Chang appeared before the trio.
"Oh, I have. And have you, Malfoy?" Albus asked in a mocking tone.
"Of course he has, Potter," Chang said, "the real surprise is why you lot signed up."
"Because the poster didn't say anything about only you lot signing up, of course," Naomi said back and she, Andrew, and Albus, continued on their paths, ignoring Malfoy completely.

After waiting far too long, it was time for the FAME club. Albus, Naomi, and Andrew walked to the Great Hall, wands on the ready.
The Great Hall's tables were folded now. Through the middle of the Hall was a rectangular platform.
The crowd filled in, the platform remained empty. Finally, an old but wise-looking man with a long white beard and silky purple robes. He looked a lot like the picture of Albus Dumbledore in the headmistress's office, but with little differences like the color of his eyes. His beard was loosely braided, as well.
The man pointed his dark brown wand at his own throat and said, "Sonorus."
"Hello," The man said and Albus noticed his voice was now heavily magnified. "After requesting your Headmaster's privileges, I have started this little FAME club. My name," The man said, "Is Absol Abicottus." The man said.
Abicottus smiled and raised his wand. The rectangular platform below him rose with a thud, hanging two feet in the air so everyone had a perfect view.
"And we also have," Abicottus continued, and apprentice of mine to play the role as my enemy."
A man with messy orange hair and a thick pair of glasses appeared on the platform.
Everybody in the crowd moved to see.
The man smiled and bowed his head. "My name is Professor Victor," The man said. Abicottus turned to the crowd.
"Just because, my friends, Voldemort is gone," Abicottus said, "Does not confirm someone can't use the unforgivable curses on us. Today, I will show you a very special kind of spell that prevents the Avada Kedavra."
The crowd oohed.
Victor raised his wand and said, AVADA KEDAVRA!"
Quick as possible, the headmaster raised his wand and said, "PREVENTUS MORTEM!"
The spell disappeared with a poof.
"Until we get to that stage however," The headmaster said, "we'll practice something else."

Bad words are strictly prohibited... its just not nice to say words like that online because who knows if a four-year-old gets on. Feel free to point out any mistakes I made and I will try and fix them further into the story.
I will reply to every single comment if I can.
